I wouldn’t worry too much about driver rotation.
The only issues I’ve had with Lowther drivers that I’ve personally owned from new have, I think, been down to dc offset on the amplifiers used. I drove a pair of Lowther loudspeakers from Naim amplifiers for a number of years and the voice-coils fell off the formers on 3 out of the 4 drivers involved before I knew what was actually happening!
I routinely play Lowther drivers to themselves for 3 months before I listen to them. (That’s 3 months continuously). I use a T-amp and an iPod on continuous repeat for this process. At least, after that, I am confident they are run in and can worry about other issues!
